Literacy Lambton is a nonprofit in Sarnia-Lambton that strengthens reading, writing, math, and basic digital skills for adults, children, and families through free one-to-one and small-group tutoring, volunteer mentor programs, and early-years initiatives. Its programs include adult learner supports, Summer Reading Buddies, Train Your Brain sites, Baby Bookworms, and Little Free Library projects delivered with trained volunteers and community partners. The organization relies on charitable funding and local partnerships to provide accessible, judgment-free learning opportunities across Sarnia-Lambton.

Train Your Brain Program 2026-27
Literacy Lambton and the Sarnia Sting Assists Foundation are backing the free Train Your Brain program for Grade 3 and 4 students, offered at nine community sites across Lambton County. Registration for Fall sessions opens at the start of the new school year, and volunteers support the program through 50/50 ticket sales at Sting home games.

Race to Erase 20th Anniversary - Fundraising Update

One hundred percent of funds go directly to beneficiaries such as The Women’s Interval Home, BGC Sarnia-Lambton, Inn of the Good Shepherd, Pathways Health Centre for Children, and Literacy Lambton, bringing the 20 year total to over $800,000.
